Roam Rope Camera Strap – Quick Release – Black / Red
An iconic contrast. A timeless inspiration.
Inspired by Leica's iconic red dot, Roam Black / Red pairs deep black braided rope with rich red Italian leather, creating an elegant contrast that pays tribute to Leica's photographic heritage. A distinctive companion for Leica enthusiasts and photographers of all kinds.
Made from premium 10 mm PPM braided rope, the strap is lightweight, flexible and comfortable. Manufactured in the EU, its OEKO-TEX® certified rope is water-resistant, dirt-repellent and designed for everyday photographic adventures.
The leather ends are crafted from Badalassi Carlo Minerva, a premium vegetable-tanned leather from Tuscany, Italy, valued for its natural grain and character that develops with use.
Our signature Roam rounded wraparound construction, finished with distinctive X-shaped hand-stitching in contrasting black thread, combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design.
Equipped with genuine Peak Design® Quick Release connectors, the strap offers convenient attachment and removal.
Leica Camera Compatibility
Designed for compatible Leica cameras with both round lug mounts and flat strap attachment points, including many M, Q and SL series models. Oval metal lug adapters are included at no extra cost, allowing Quick Release Anchors to connect where direct attachment is not possible.
The strap is equally suitable for other compatible film and digital cameras.
Individually handmade in England, with carefully selected materials and attention to every detail.
Inspired by an icon. Made for every photographic journey.
* Compatibility depends on the camera's attachment design. Æthel Design is an independent brand and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Leica Camera AG.

Strap Length Guide
All measurements show the total end-to-end length, including connectors, with the strap laid flat and unstretched. For Peak Design® Quick Release models, approximately 12–14 cm (4.7–5.5 inches) of the total length is made up of the connectors, not the strap itself.
