Handmade in England from premium EU-made PPM rope, ÆTHEL DESIGN Rope Camera Straps combine technical performance with traditional leather craftsmanship.
Our collection includes round and flat rope designs, finished with carefully selected leathers from makers including Badalassi Carlo and Horween. Each strap is hand-finished in England, combining durable rope construction with distinctive leather detailing.
PPM rope is low-stretch and resistant to moisture and dirt, making it well suited to everyday photographic use. Combined with hand-stitched leather details, it creates a camera strap that feels durable, distinctive and comfortable in use.
Depending on the model, our rope straps are available with genuine Peak Design Quick Release connections or traditional Classic Ring connections, giving photographers a choice between modern convenience and a more traditional camera strap setup.
Designed for both film and digital cameras, the collection includes full-length camera straps and compact wrist straps, with selected models including additional attachment adapters for broader compatibility with suitable camera strap points.
