Standard Camera Cage Kit for Sony FX3/FX3A/FX30 - Wooden Grip
Designed as a complete handheld rigging solution for Sony’s compact Cinema Line cameras, this Standard Camera Cage Kit combines a dedicated two-piece aluminium cage for the Sony FX3, FX3A and FX30 with ÆTHEL DESIGN wooden-grip top and side handles.
The open-frame cage provides a secure foundation for handheld, tripod and gimbal setups while maintaining access to the camera’s grip, ports, screen and battery compartment. Its detachable upper mounting plate expands the available accessory positions, while multiple 1/4" and 3/8" threads, an integrated cold shoe and Arca-type base support monitors, microphones, lights and other essential equipment without adding unnecessary bulk.
The wooden-grip top handle brings natural warmth and tactile control to handheld and low-angle shooting. Interchangeable 1/4" and 3/8" ARRI-style mounting studs provide a secure fit across compatible mounting configurations, while multiple accessory threads and front and rear cold shoe mounts keep essential rig components close at hand.
For greater balance and two-handed control, the reversible wooden side handle can be installed on either side of the cage. Its adjustable dual-screw mounting system and sliding height mechanism allow the grip position to be adapted to the camera setup and shooting style. Integrated top threads, a cold shoe and a magnetically stored installation wrench complete a clean, practical and adaptable production rig.
