Handmade in England from genuine Horween Chromexcel® leather, the ÆTHEL DESIGN Scout combines traditional leather craftsmanship with a compact, secure wrist strap design for everyday photography.
Designed for photographers who prefer to keep their camera close at hand, Scout uses genuine Peak Design Anchors for a secure and convenient quick-release connection. The universal attachment system makes it compatible with a wide range of film and digital cameras.
Horween Chromexcel® is renowned for its rich feel, natural character and the distinctive patina it develops with use. In Black, Scout has a timeless, understated appearance that complements both classic and contemporary camera bodies.
Scout comes in one fixed length of 30 cm (11.8 in), measured end to end including the quick-release connection.
Brass rivets are standard, with Silver and Gunmetal finishes available. Further customisation is available on request.

Horween Leather Company has been producing leather in Chicago since 1905, using time-honoured processes developed over generations. Chromexcel® is one of its most celebrated leathers — made through a labour-intensive process involving proprietary blends of oils and waxes that give it remarkable depth, softness and its characteristic pull-up. We chose it because Hudson shouldn't simply look good when new. It should become better with age.

Hudson leather camera straps begin with Chromexcel® made by Horween in Chicago and are completed by hand in London. A meeting of two long traditions of making things properly, transformed into something designed to accompany today's cameras. Each Hudson is individually cut and hand-finished, with careful attention to its hardware and construction. The result is deliberately simple: good leather, considered details and nothing unnecessary.
